Music and I go a long way back. It was a huge part of my life growing up as a kid.
My Father loved music, he was an audiophile. He was the one that introduced me to the diversity of music. We listened to a wide range of genre at home, and it was from this introduction that I began to think about music in a creative way. I started out as a percussionist. When I was around 5 or 6 my Father gave me pair of bongos which helped me learn the basics of percussion and rhythm. Then when I was around 15 years old I started to DJ, and my Father was very supportive with this also.
I continued to DJ for a number of years, but It didn’t take off for me. It was very difficult to get a break in the music industry back in those days. So I began to pursue other options for my career, but I kept DJing in my spare time for my own enjoyment. Then somewhere around 2009 I began to develop a serious an interest into making my own music. I could clearly see the direction that music was headed with digital and I wanted to position myself as a producer rather than a DJ. The learning curve was steep, but with consistency, commitment, and patience I taught myself to produce music. Please take a moment to listen to my first single at the link below. I'm planning to release more music very soon so please like and follow me on the music platform you listen to.
